A gallery for everyone
Throughout the year, the Amesbury Cultural Council showcases the work of talented local artists in the front lobby of Amesbury City Hall at 62 Friend Street. Professional, non-professional, amateur, and aspiring creators of all ages from Amesbury and surrounding communities are welcome to apply. That's right—exhibitors are not required to be Amesbury residents!
All exhibits are free and open to the public during City Hall business hours.

Creative Chaos
Exhibition Dates: March 13th - June 30th
We invite artists to submit work that explores the theme of Creative Chaos— a world where art and imagination collide, break boundaries, and transform through disorder. Whether through abstract expression, spontaneous moments of inspiration, or the beautiful mess of creation, we are looking for pieces that embrace unpredictability, challenge conventional structures, and celebrate the wild energy of creativity.
Submission Instructions:
Email up to 3 images of original artwork to: amesburyartatcityhall@gmail.com
In the body of the email please include the title, medium, artwork dimensions, and frame dimensions (if framed) for each submission.
Submission Deadline: Saturday, March 1st | Artists will be notified by Saturday, March 8th
Artwork Drop-Off Dates:
Tuesday, March 11th, 5-6:30pm
Wednesday, March 12th, 10am-12pm
Show Installation: Wednesday, March 12th, 10am-12pm
Opening Reception: Coming Soon, at City Hall
